Privacy Policy

1.What this policy covers
This policy explains how CardioCord (“CardioCord”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you visit this website, cardiocord.net, or contact us through it.
It does not cover patient information that CardioCord may handle while providing services to a medical practice. That information is governed by the written agreement with the practice — including a Business Associate Agreement where HIPAA requires one — and by the practice’s own notice of privacy practices.
2.Information we collect
This website is deliberately simple, and it collects very little:
- What you choose to send us. When you email us or use the demo request form, the form does not send anything to our servers — it opens a pre-filled message in your own email app, and you decide whether to send it. We receive what you send: typically your name, practice, role, email address, phone number and message.
- Technical information processed by our hosting provider. The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Like any web server, the hosting service processes your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Preferences stored on your device. If you choose a theme, text size or motion setting in the menu, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.
This website does not set cookies, and it does not use analytics, advertising, social-media or other third-party tracking scripts.
3.Please do not send patient information
Do not include protected health information — such as patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers or clinical details — in emails or demo requests sent through this website. If you send it anyway, we will delete it and will not use it.
4.How we use information
- To reply to your message and arrange a demo or conversation you asked for.
- To operate, maintain and secure the website.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6.How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to respond to you and to maintain ordinary business records, and then delete it. Hosting logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for operations and security.
7.Security
The website is served only over HTTPS, with a strict content security policy and no third-party scripts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the small amount of information this website handles.
8.Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you have sent us by writing to privacy@cardiocord.net. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we will honor them as those laws require and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
9.Children
This website is intended for healthcare professionals and businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
10.Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear on the page.
